aimed at immediate practical applications utilizing the resources and inputs
available in the country. The number of petroleum specialities is
substantially large amd cpimtru’s requirements are dictated by indigenous
machine designs, climatic conditions and limited resources that are available
indigenously.
There are two types of bleaching earths - the natural or Fuller’s earth and the highly acitc, chemically processed earth. The forrmer, which are obtained from selected raw material and have naturally a certain bleaching power, require only simple treatment in their preparation, such as drying of the raw earth and milling to required fineness. Only with material containing sand or stone, it is necessary to introduce, before drying,the step of water-washing to settle out the impurities from the clayey substances.
The second type, or chemically
activated clays of high bleaching power, are produced by a process involving
treatment with sulphuric acid, or preferably hydrochloric acid. Such
chemically treated material has an ethicacy, conciderably greater than
that of the natural bleaching earths. For this reason less bleaching
agent is required for a degree of decolorizing and less oil is lost in
the earth after filtering. In order to opeate most economically and
reduce this oil losss to a minimum, one uses advantageously the most highly
activated earth possible.
We are having our own mining lands in and around Tandur area in Andhra Pradesh and Korvi in Karnataka. We are mining Bentonite since over a decade and are supplying to reputed local Bleaching Earth manufacturers. We have also supplied some quantities to the exporters who buy the mineral from us are exporting to Malaysia.
The deposits of Fuller’s Earth are abundantly available in Andhra Pradesh near Vikarabad Taluq and Tandur Taluq of Ranga Reddy District. The deposits of Fuller’s Earth are in and around Gopalpur, Narsapur,Tandur, Vikarabad etc. The deposits are also available in other parts of India, i.e. Gujarat, Karnataka,Bihar, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir etc. In the world United States of America the major producing country of Bleching Clay. Next comes West Germany and England. Clay deposits are also available in Russia,Italy, Japan,Canada,Australia etc.
As we are already exported our Bentonite to Malaysia,Nepal,Neigeria. We are capable of supplying about 25,000 to 70,000 Tons per month. We can ensure a regular supply of good quality material at a very competitive price from time to time. We can arrange a tour to the different mine sites that we own and mineral from selected mines can be supplied as per the choice of the customer.
The Basic Raw Material Atapulgite is abundantly available in India, especially in Andhra Pradesh.
The Mining Areas, i.e. Tandur,(Andhra
Pradesh and surrounding places where the deposits are available are about
100 k.m. from the factory of Suryachem.
The raw material deposits are sufficient for atleast 100s of years to come.
In addition to the regular suppliers of the basic raw material,the family
members of the Group of Companies are owning Mining Lands. Hence,we
do not foresee any difficulty for the procurment of the basic raw material.

SURYA-HQ: Recommended for removing colours in light coloured oils like Sunflower, Groundnut etc. Optimum bleachability is obtained with minimum dosage under normal conditions. The product also removes impurities, odour and moisture from the oils.
SURYA-HB: Especially developed product for bleaching dark coloured oils like Rape Seed, Cotton seed oils. This product gives optimum results with less usage when compared to other indegenous Bleaching Earths. It also works out very economical when compared to imported earths.
SURYA-BM: This is an Acid Activated Clay sutiable for the refining of “DIFFICULT TO BLEACH OILS”. This product is being used as a perfect substitue for imported earthsby many edible oil refineries. The product is specially suitable for Rice Bran and other dark coloured oils and gives excellent results. The oil retention loss are also minimum as per International Specifications.
SURYA-SF: This product is
suitable for refining of Light coloured oils like Sunflower, Groundnut,
Vanaspati oil and gives optimum bleachability with minimum dosage.
SURYA-SE:
After long survey of market in Activated Bleaching Earth and Oil refineries,
it is found that no grade could give the correct results on hard and dark
coloured oils.
To achieve the best results and customers satisfaction, we hve customised our products according to our customer needs after a brief research of more than two years. We have developed the grade which have proven to be the best and satisfactory with the customers.
After testing various grades of beta products and after the customers querry services, 80% of recommended rating were received, in cost as well as quality it is also proved to be the most economical in long term usage, 10% of the customers querry reported that cost is high in short term use. 10% of the customers querry have not replied on beta products.
